ABOUT TVI ACTORS STUDIO (NYC & LOS ANGELES)
Since 1986, TVI Actors Studio has provided actors with centres in NY and LA wherethey can focus on the business of their careers in addition to learning thenecessary skills to compete as an actor.
Founded in New York City in “The Actors Equity Building”, TVI Actors Studio opened its Los Angeles office studios in 1988. In both locations, the primary focus of the studio is to provide actors with a means of learning and understanding the practical "ins and outs" of the acting profession. Classes in audition technique are taught by some of the most prominent directors, producers, casting directors and talent agents on both coasts. These classes range in fields from commercials, primetime and daytime TV, to film, musical and legit theater. All of these classes offer the actor the benefit of audition insight from the professionals who are in the industry, running the actual auditions.


ABOUT LOS ANGELES CASTING DIRECTOR ZORA DEHORTER

Los Angeles based casting director, Zora  Dehorter is  an independent film and television casting director.  She is also a member of the CSA (“Casting Society of America”, the premiere organization of theatrical casting directors in film, television and theatre.
Independently, Zora has cast such films as “Ali G InDa House”, “Species III”, “Taylor” (which won a feature film award for ‘best director: Mark Roemmich’ at the New York International Film & Video Festival in 2005), to name a few.
Previously,from 2000-2004, at MGM TV she cast the NBC syndicated television “She Spies” for two years with Paul Weber. Zora oversaw the everyday casting of this series.  Paul and Zora also worked together on two Showtime series “Dead Like Me” and “Jeremiah”, and the SCIFI Channel series “Stargate: Atlantis”.

Zora recently completed casting the independent feature film “Once Fallen” starring Ed Harris, Taraji P. Henson, Peter Weller, Sharon Gless, Peter Greene, Steve Railsback, and twenty-two other fabulous actors.
  “Once Fallen” won best director (Ash Adams) at the Los Angeles Film Festival in 2010.
Currently in the works is “Crossmaglen”, which looks to shoot in Ireland March 2011, in which Zora was able to attach the following actors (to name a few) Ben Kingsley, Ioan Gruffudd, Brenda Fricker, Claire Forlani, Thora Birch, Fionnula Flanagan

A native New Yorker, Nusbaum worked as a talent agent in the New York office of Cunningham, Escott, Slevin, Dougherty for almost a decade prior to launching TVI Actors Studio. During his tenure as an agent, he helped launch the careers of Courtney Cox, Sandra Bullock, Dolph Lundgren, and Tony award-winner Tonya Pinkins, among many others.
